This corporation is organized for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including:
a. Encouragement of responsible stewardship of historic resources;
b. Education of historic resource owners on responsible stewardship;
c. Encouragement of research, documentation and knowledge sharing of historic resources;
d. Promotion of the Fredericksburg Region’s quality of life

- An advisory task force has been established to continue offering City Staff & Council assistance with Idlewild Mansion.

- Success: the Barlow-Tolson House in Stafford County, in the Austin Ridge Subdivision has been preserved! Excellent work BT Committee.

- We have found a new section of "Tunnel" in Fredericksburg! We are always looking for anyone with information or experiences with the tunnels. The hike/tour of locations was canceled due to heat, but will be rescheduled soon!
` - We are currently working to identify other endangered historical sites in our region.
